But if you spend more time in the hot afternoon sun in summer, it can cause many serious health problems. The direct effect of the rays of the hot afternoon sun can have a bad effect on our physical and mental health. We are talking about those problems that can occur due to prolonged exposure to strong sunlight in the afternoon.
1. Dehydration
When a person spends too much time in the sun, there may be a lack of water in his body, which may cause dehydration. Especially in summer, spending too much time in the afternoon sun causes dehydration. Due to which there may be problems of fatigue, weakness, and headache. The doctor said that to avoid dehydration, drink plenty of water and include fruits and vegetables in your diet, which contain plenty of water. Along with this, wear cotton clothes in summer; it reduces the feeling of heat and also absorbs sweat.
2. Dizziness
Many people complain of dizziness due to excessive exposure to the hot summer sun. Some people’s lifestyle is spoiled, and their body does not get nutrition from outside food. In such a situation, there is a deficiency of vitamins and minerals in the body; if such a person spends too much time in the sun, then there can be a problem of dizziness. Being in the sun increases body heat, which can cause dizziness. In such a situation, include fruits and vegetables in your diet and use an umbrella while going out in the hot sun; this can benefit you.
3. Nosebleed
Many people start bleeding from their nose after spending too much time in the sun. Due to increased heat in the body, the problem of nose bleeding may increase. However, apart from this, there can be many other reasons for nose bleeding, which can be known after examination.
4. Skin cancer
Harmful radiation from the sun increases the risk of skin cancer. Research has shown that excessive exposure to UV radiation can cause skin cancer. People should limit the amount of time they spend in the sun, especially avoiding the 12 to 3 pm sun. Be sure to apply sunscreen before going in the sun; this can reduce skin-related problems. Apart from this, wear cotton clothes so that your entire body remains covered.
