Two new pocket-friendly plans without data from Reliance Jio have been launched for the company’s prepaid users. They will feature a validity of 365 days as well as only calling and SMS.
These packs cost Rs 458 and Rs 1,958 on Jio’s site. These packs will be for users who do not use data and only use calling and SMS. https://www.jio.com/selfcare/login/
The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has recently asked telecom operators to provide recharge packs with separate voice + SMS to customers.
Free use of Jio Cinema and Jio TV apps will also be available
According to the company’s official website, the Rs 458 plan will feature customers with unlimited calling and 1000 free SMS on any network in India for 84 days. Apart from this, customers will also be given free access to apps like Jio Cinema and Jio TV.
Along with this, in the Rs 1499 plan, users will get 3600 free SMS and National Free Roaming as well as unlimited calls on any network in India for 365 days. Apart from this, the plan also includes free entry of Jio Cinema and Jio TV apps. https://www.jio.com/jcms/apps/myjio/
Jio cut two plans
Jio has removed two old recharge plans from its list. These were plans with Rs 479 and Rs 1899. The Rs 1899 plan yielded 24GB data with a validity of 336 days, while the Rs 479 plan yielded 6GB data with a validity of 84 days. https://apps.apple.com/in/app/myjio-for-everything-jio
Packs should be made available to customers at low prices without data. TRAI wanted customers to get packs with zero data at low rates, as there are many people who use phones only for basic calling. But they have to recharge calling + SMS and available data packs, which is really very expensive.
Most consumers use two SIMs, one with calling and the other with internet, but both have to be recharged. As far as the question is concerned, the government has issued new guidelines and ordered to provide only calling and SMS plans.
