In India, about 19,000 women’s died while being pregnant or shipping in 2023. In such a way that one fifty two girls died every day due to pregnancy-related complications.

What to do to get pregnant and shipping?
Dr. Pankhuri Gautam says that the maximum important component for this is proper care. It stops even before getting pregnant-
Pre-pregnancy care: Preparation before pregnancy is very important so that both mother and baby are healthy. If you are already healthy, there are fewer headaches during pregnancy.
Adopt these habits three months before planning to get pregnant:
Quit smoking and alcohol:
- Take folic acid tablets – it helps in improving the baby’s spinal cord and brain.
- Talk about your current health conditions, drug treatment and supplements with your health practitioner.
- Stay away from chemical compounds and toxic materials in painting or at home.
Care during pregnancy: Regular checkups with a health practitioner are very important during pregnancy, so that you and baby’s health can be monitored.
Proper schedule of health practitioner visits:
- In the first 6 months: Visit every month.
- In the seventh and eighth months: Visit every 2 weeks.
- In the ninth month: Visit every week.
What does each visit consist of?
- Blood pressure is measured.
- The baby’s weight and growth are checked.
- Blood tests look for anemia.
- Urine tests and other screenings are done.
- Diet, exercise and medications are recommended.
- In the last months, the baby’s health and heart rate are also checked.
Post-transport care
The time after transport is also very delicate. It lasts from 6 to 8 weeks, which is known as the postpartum period. During this time, many changes take place in the woman’s every frame and thoughts. Therefore, proper care is very important.
Adequate rest is necessary
- Whenever the baby sleeps, the mother also has to try and sleep.
- Keep the baby’s mattress close to your mattress so that night-time feeding is easy.
- If possible, someone has to feed the baby with a bottle so that the mother can get rest.
Proper Nutrition
- It is essential for the mother to have a healthy diet, especially as long as she is breastfeeding.
- Eat carefully when you feel hungry. Do not consume while you are tired or stressed.
- Maintain a diet of low-fat proteins, carbohydrates, and greens with the end result and diet.
- Drink extra water, keep the frame hydrated.
- Avoid fried or very fatty snacks.
Vaginal Care
There may be some not uncommon troubles with the vagina after transport:
- If stitches have been applied for the duration of transport, there may be pain and swelling.
- There may be complaints of burning during urination or common urination.
- There may be bleeding or small clots for a few days.
- Mild contractions with the abdomen, which may be a sign of the uterus increasing its size again.
Take a follow-up after 6 weeks
Dr. Pankhuri Gautam says that one should take a follow-up from a health practitioner after 6 weeks of transportation, to find out whether the frame is completely gone or not anymore. During this time, sexual sex has to be avoided for four to six weeks so that the vagina and the frame get enough time to heal. Also, take unique care of hygiene. The risk of contamination is likewise higher during this age.
