The Sun’s Rays Falling On Our Eyes Are 170,000 Years Old

Today I will tell you a very amazing thing about the star present in the center of our solar system, which we also know as the Sun. Such a thing that you will hardly be able to believe your ears after hearing it. After reading this article, your attitude towards the Sun will completely change. So, the question arises: what is this thing that you will not be able to believe? Friends! For now let me tell you briefly that this thing is related to sunlight.

Sunlight, which we consider to be the basis of gross energy, still has one thing about it that you do not know. We think that the rays of light from the Sun would easily reach our Earth. But friends, this is not true at all. Sunlight also has its own separate existence. Therefore, in today’s article we will know everything related to this sunlight and understand every aspect of it.

So, let’s go, friends! Now moving ahead in the article, let us know about this only.

Some Basic Things Related To Sunlight

As I have already said, in this article we will know every little thing related to sunlight. Therefore, first of all, let us know, what is sunlight from a scientific point of view?

Friends! If I say in very simple language, “Sunlight is a kind of ‘electromagnetic’ wave that is radiated by the Sun.” Generally, this wave falls within the infrared, UV ray, and visible spectrum, due to which we are able to see these waves. By the way, sunlight is also called “sunshine,” because after falling on the earth, these waves of light spread in large quantities in the atmosphere.

Scientific research has shown that in dry and open-sky weather, sunlight also releases heat. Along with this, the waves falling on the earth also radiate 164 watts of energy per square meter. Although this figure in itself is a subjective thing. Life is not possible on Earth without sunlight; hence, it is considered one of the fundamentals of life.

However, one thing that needs to be kept in mind is that sunlight has two aspects. The first aspect shows its good effects, but the second aspect also shows us its harmful properties. The “UV rays” present in these rays can cause very serious changes in the body. Therefore, we will have to look at both these aspects together.

One Such Thing Related To Sunlight, Which You Will Not Be Able To Believe

Generally, we have been taught since childhood that the sun’s rays take about 8 minutes and 20 seconds to reach the earth. Which is correct, but after hearing this, most of the people think that the sun’s rays form on the sun within a moment and directly reach the earth. Which is completely wrong. Yes! Friends, the sun’s rays have been forming inside the sun for thousands of years before reaching the earth.

Nuclear processes take place inside the Sun all the time. Due to this, large quantities of “photon” particles are produced. These photon particles later become sunlight. By the way, one thing should be kept in mind: the photon particles are first converted into “Gamma Ray” and then into “X Ray” and finally into “UV Ray” or “Infrared Ray.” By the way, I have told you briefly about photons. But now I will tell you something else, so please listen to it carefully.

The particles that are photons work on a principle. Scientists have named this “Random Walk Problem.” The basis of this theory or concept is also the formation of rays of light  inside the Sun. So, what exactly are these random walk problems? Let us know about it further.

This unique theory is hidden behind the reason for the formation of light; it is difficult to believe your ears after hearing this! :-

So, above I was telling you about the “Random Walk Problem.” According to this principle, we have to understand a formula. which is,

Distance = Step Size x (Number Of Steps)^1/2

Sunlight is created on the basis of the formula you see above. Well, we do not need to understand this sutra in depth, because it will become a separate topic in itself. About which I will definitely tell you in the upcoming article. Well, for now just know that photons travel a distance inside the Sun, which scientists measure in steps, and this formula has been created taking those steps only.

For more information, let me tell you that the average velocity of a photon inside the Sun is about 300,000 km/s. When a photon particle moves inside the Sun at such a velocity, it is bound to collide with many “proton” particles present inside the Sun. The mass value of the Sun is approximately 1.99×10^30 kg. Therefore, it is natural to have a large amount of proton particles inside the Sun. According to scientists, there will be approximately 1.0×10^57 proton particles inside the Sun, and the average distance between them will be about 1.0×10^-10 meters.

It Takes 170,000 Years For Light To Transform Into Rays

In such a situation, you can estimate how many proton particles a photon (which comes from the center of the Sun) would have to collide with to reach the Sun’s surface. Which is a very long, time-consuming process. With this you can imagine how much time it would take to convert photon particles into rays of sunlight.

The length of the Sun’s radius is approximately 690,000 km. In such a situation, if we look at the velocity of a photon, it will take approximately 39×10^37 steps to reach the surface from the center after colliding with the proton particles. A photon will take approximately 170,000 years to travel this distance. Friends! These figures are estimated, and hence a lot of research is still going on. Hopefully in the coming time, we will get to know more things about it. What do you think? Are you able to believe your ears after hearing this?

So, you can say that the sun’s rays falling on us are approximately 170,000 years old. By the way, another interesting thing is that 170,000 years ago, the “Ice Age” was going on the earth, and at that time, only primitive humans were living on the earth.
