SSC Joint Graduate Level (CGL) Examination, 2025 is a National Competitive Examination that is conducted by the Staff Selection Commission every year for the recruitment of candidates to fill the vacant posts in various Group B and Group C posts in the organizations and ministries and departments of the Government of India. The examination process usually involves several stages- Tier I (screening), Tier II (Main), Tier III (Descriptive), and Tier IV (skill test or document verification), which are based on the type of applied posts. Notification for this examination is coming on June 9, 2025, which is 2025 and the last date for application will be 4 July 2025. Tier-I exam will be conducted between August 13 to August 30, 2025. This exam is very important for those who are graduates in search of a safe government job and it is a very competitive type of examination including a very detailed course including general intelligence, logic, quantitative ability, English understanding and general awareness.
SSC Joint Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) Examination is an entrance examination conducted by Staff Selection Commission to select Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA), Lower Division Clerk (LDC), Data Entry Operator (DEO) and candidates for postal assistant posts in various central government offices. This is for students who have passed 12th grade (10+2) and want to sit in a government job. The exam is of three levels: Tier I (Computer Based Examination), Tier II (Descriptive Examination), and Tier III (Typing Test/Skill Test). The notification of CHSL 2025 will be released on 23 June and the application process will be held on 18 July. The Tier-I exam will be between 8 to 18 September, 2025. In this, the general intelligence, quantitative ability, general knowledge and language skills of the applicants are examined. The CHSL exam admission is one of the easiest ways to enter the central government job at the academic level. SSC Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) and Havildar Examination, 2025 Central Indirect Taxes and Customs Board (CBIC) and Central Narcotics Bureau (CBN) have a selection test by Staff Selection Commission for Non-Technical Multi-Tasking Staff Jobs and Havildar Jobs Appointment in Non-Technical Multi-Tasking Staff Jobs and Havildar Jobs.
This exam is for those candidates who have passed 10th class (matriculation) and are eagerly waiting to be a part of the central government job. This exam is two sessions of computer based examinations on subjects like general awareness, logic, numerical capacity and English. Advertisement will be published on 26 June and applications will be accepted by 24 July. The exam will be held between September 20 to October 24, 2025. The vacancies of MTS and Havildar include physical maintenance of files, sending documents, opening and closing office premises and supporting top officials. This exam is a big opportunity for government service for the economically weaker section candidates. SSC Junior Engineer (JE) Examination, 2025 Central Public Works Department (CPWD), Military Engineering Services (MES), Border Roads Organization (BRO), etc. There is a national level examination by the Staff Selection Commission to choose junior engineers in government organizations.
It especially fulfills civil engineering, electrical engineering and mechanical engineering degrees and diploma holders. Shortlisting is done on the basis of paper-I (objective type computer-based test) and paper-II (descriptive type written examination). The 2025 notification will be published on 30 June, and the form will have to be submitted on or before 21 July. Paper-I exam will be held between 27 October to 31 October, 2025. Shortlisted candidates who pass both paper will also have to complete the document verification and the eligibility for medical examination. SSC Stenographer Grade ‘C’ and ‘D’ Examination, 2025 is a national competitive examination conducted by the Staff Selection Commission for the recruitment of candidates for the posts of Stenographer in various departments of the Central Government. Candidates passing 12th grade are eligible to apply, provided they have good skills of shorthand and typing. Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of skill examination in computer based examination and stenography. Notice for this examination will be issued on June 5, 2025 and the last date of application will be 26 June 2025. The written examination will be held from August 6 to August 11, 2025. Stenographers are entrusted with the task of recording official correspondence, typing official papers and helping officers in management of administrative functions. The skill test is a qualification test in nature, and it is mandatory for final recruitment. This is a very important examination for those candidates who are fast typists and are looking for a good and reputed government job in the administrative or secretary unit.
There is an annual examination conducted by SSC Junior Hindi Translator (JHT) Examination, 2025, Staff Selection Commission to fill the appropriate candidates for the posts of Junior Hindi Translator, Senior Hindi Translator and Hindi Professor in Ministries and Government Departments. Students applying should have a master’s degree in Hindi or English, which consists of Hindi/English as a compulsory subject and has proficiency in translation between the two languages. It consists of two papers: paper-I (computer-based objective type) and paper-II (descriptive). Notification is to be issued on 5 June 2025 and applications should be reached by 26 June 2025. The exam will be held on 12 August 2025. It is their primary duty to transform the translator official documents from Hindi to English and vice versa, keeping it in a word while maintaining the essence and importance of the material. This exam is a great opportunity to find translation-oriented jobs in the central government for bilingual masters. The Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Force (CAPF) have a competitive examination conducted by SSC for SSC Sub-Inspector Examination, 2025 Delhi Police, BSF, CRPF, ITBP, SSB and CISF for the recruitment of Sub-Inspector.
This exam is available for graduates between 20 and 25 years of age. This includes a two -phase computer -based examination – Paper I and Paper II – and then physical stamina testing (PET), Physical Standards Testing (PST) and Medical Examination. The notification in 2025 is on 16 June, while the last date for deposit is 7 July. The dates of Paper-I have already been determined from September 1 to September 6, 2025. The job includes law and order, criminal investigation and boundary or internal security enforcement. Successful candidates are rewarded with incentives like respectable status, job security and allowance. This exam is best suited for candidates with physical fitness and leadership capacity who want to join uniformed services under the Central Government. CAPFS, NIA, SSC Constable (GD) in SSF and Rifleman (GD) Examination in Assam Rifles, 2026 is a recruitment examination conducted by Staff Selection Commission for appointment of General Duty Constable posts in various central paramilitary forces.
It has units in state of Bihar and Uttar Pradesh. These organizations are Border Security Force (BSF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), India-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), National Investigation Agency (NIA), Secretariat Security Force (SSF), and Assam Rifles. Educational qualification is matriculation (10th pass), and candidates have to undergo written examination, physical standard testing, physical efficiency test and medical tests. The 2026 notification is scheduled to be published in October 2025, the last date for application is November 2025. The exam will be held between January and February 2026. This recruitment provides direct admission to paramilitary service with physical training, defense-related employment and disciplined work culture, which is keen to join India’s internal security service in uniform capacity.
SSC Selection Post Examination, Phase- XIII, 2025 is a multi-work recruitment scheme which is followed by the Staff Selection Commission for appointment of various types of group ‘C’ and Group ‘B’ in other central government departments, ministries and agencies. SSC Selection Post is a strong examination under various categories of job advertisements based on the level of selection post, phase- XIII, 2025 matriculation level to graduate level and postgraduate level of postgraduate level. They are shortlisted on the basis of their performance in the computer test based on their level of merit and then document verification. The exam will be held from 24 July to 4 August 2025. The notice will be given on 2 June 2025 and the date for submission of the final application will be 23 June. This recruitment is to ensure that the departments of the country have skilled employees in clerical, administrative, technical and other cadres of assistant employees. The phased system allows candidates with various qualifications to appear for appropriate positions, and thus it is an inclusive and comprehensive recruitment process by the central government.
SSC Departmental Exams (JSA/LDC, SSA/UDC, ASO Grade) are departmental promotion examinations conducted by Staff Selection Commission for current government employees. These examinations are for providing departmental promotion from lower to high grade, ie Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA) or Lower Division Clerk (LDC) from Senior Secretariat Assistant (SSA) or Additional Division Clerk (UDC), and Assistant Section Officer (ASO) Grade. These are closed examinations, ie departmental employees who meet the eligibility criteria based on their seniority and performance reports are eligible to apply. Exams are held on various dates between June 8, 2025 and March 2026. Examinations provide career progress on the basis of merit in the government. Examinations motivate employees to increase qualification and capacity for better efficiency and accountability of government offices.
