It is the company’s most expensive vehicle ever in India, and is available in only one version. The price of this vehicle has been kept at Rs 69.90 lakh (about $ 83,000). Customers can buy MG M9 from special MG select stores.
In the Indian market, it will compete with vehicles such as Kia Carnival (₹ 63.91 lakh) and Toyota Welfire (₹ 1.22 to ₹ 1.32 crore). However, both these cars are not completely electric; Rather, hybrid technology has been used in them.
Booking of MG M9 has started. Interested buyers can book their car for Rs 1 lakh (about $ 1,200) through the official website or MG select outlets. The delivery of this vehicle is expected to start from August 10.
Exterior: MG M9 has special LED lights and 19-inch mixed wheels
The front part of the car is flat and wide, with a thin LED day-time running lights (DRLs) and attractive places for lights. There is a closed grill between the lights on which the MG logo is lighted. Instead of traditional open parts, the grill is covered with a plastic piece that hides the sensors and cameras for safety. The front bumper has shiny chrome design and lights for blur -filled weather.
From the side, the size of the Mg M9 is like a box, which has a length of 5.27 meters and a distance of 3.2 meters between the wheels. The 19-inch alloy wheels give it a strong look. The handles of the doors come out when pulling, and it becomes easier to reach back seats from the sliding doors. It has a powerful electric motor that produces 245 horsepower and 350 newton meters of torque, that is, it can catch speed at a good speed. This car controls forward wheels.
MG tests suggest that it can reach a range of 548 km, but in real life, according to the WLTP standard, it usually runs from 380 to 430 kilometers. You can charge it from 30% to 80% in just 30 minutes with a 160 kW fast charger, but if you use a slow charger of 11 kW, it will take 10 hours to fully charge. Its power is good for driving in the city and is easily capable of overtaking other cars, as well as it also handles traffic well.
However, due to its weight 2.5 tonnes and length 5.27 meters, it can be difficult to run in small places. On the highway, it can reach a speed of 100 kilometers per hour, but despite having sports mode, it is not designed as a racing car.
Its performance seems easy and comfortable. Its suspension is soft, causing it to easily withstand big bumps like pits, but it may look a bit strict on small bumpy roads. The regular braking system works well, and the cabin is cool, the level of noise, vibration and hardness is low, leading to comfortable travel on the highway.
