Guidelines have been made by the resort bank and India regarding online fraud or financial cybercrime. If the victim of fraud complains in the bank according to the conditions of the RBI, then his money is returned.
‘A junior resident doctor working in a big hospital in Delhi received a call to increase the credit card limit. He talked and suddenly a transaction of two lakh rupees was done from him and the limit did not increase. Two days passed in tension, on the third day, he complained to the police. Then they also went to the bank. A lot of rounds, investigated but did not get the money back…
‘While a call came near a close of these doctors and flew 50 thousand rupees from the account. He complained to the bank and the police on the same day. In a few days, all his money was returned.
Now the question arises that why this happened? Online fraud happened to both, then one got full money, not the other, why so? Today we are going to answer this question in detail.
Call will come from police number on WhatsApp! You will get threatened and scared, you will be pauper ..
Nowadays, the more online fraud is increasing, the Reserve Bank of India is creating as much safety rules to save the money of customers and keeps on issuing circulars from time to time. If there is any fraud with you, then you can get money, but it is very important to know about these conditions of RBI.
According to RBI, if in the absence of any information, the lack of the bank or some other way is fraud, whether it is from phone, net banking, debit card, credit card or online payment gateway, then money can be received after complaint. Apart from this, if a third party breech, due to the system, the money goes from the account, in which neither the bank nor the customer makes the mistake, the money is also returned.
However, the RBI has clearly stated in its guidelines that if there is fraud with someone, then within 3 days of the incident, the bank will have to inform it in writing. Even if the customer informs the bank within 4 to 7 days, there is some possibility that the money can be refunded, but there are limits for that too. After this, whatever policy of the bank board is given on giving information, things will be done accordingly.
Although Delhi Police’s cyber expert Kisalaya Chaudhary says that even though these are these guidelines of RBI, many times banks are reluctant to accept them and after a fixed time, the customer does not get his money back.
Chaudhary recommends that after online fraud, only informing the bank does not work. It is also important to know its full process. If you want money back, then you should do these 3 things.
On online fraud, the first day should give a written complaint of fraud to the nearest police station. If the FIR is done then it is not right, if not, then complain and take it.
Those who are fraud, try to go to your bank with police receiving. Write the application of fraud there and submit the police receiving and submit it.
The third required step is that it is that the soft copy of both the copies should be sent to the RBI email ID Crpc@rbi.org.in, put your bank’s email ID and immediately send it to the CC. The sooner you do this work, the more the chances of your money come back increases. It is mandatory to do it within 3 days.
Kisalaya says that once the RBI goes to the information, the banks do their work properly, not only that there is a police Complain, then there is complete formality from the customer. Then you will not need to run away. Within 3 to 21 days, you get the money back.
Kisalaya says that those who inform the bank and the police after a maximum of 7 days, or give it to one of them, their money is not received back. If someone has lost money in bitcoin, online currency, online games or speculative etc. then that money is not returned. If someone has deliberately done transactions and has been negligent even after informing the bank, then the money is not returned.
