India’s Growth Will Help The Whole World: Bill Gates Said – India Will Be A Developed Nation By 2047

World famous and legend Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates has said that India’s growth will help the whole world. Bill Gates made this statement at an event in Mumbai on Thursday. Not only this, he has also praised India’s quick pace of innovation.

Bill Gates said that the country’s emergence as a developed nation by 2047 will not only change India but will also benefit the world. According to him, the fact that priority has been given to sectors like health and education in India has brought an extremely positive dynamic.

Describing India’s economic growth prospects as promising, Gates said, ‘It is a good situation when there is a question whether the rate of growth will be 5% or 10%. But I don’t believe it will be 10%, but it will not fall below 5%.

Gates lauded India’s model for developing AI

Bill Gates indicated that economic growth would allow for more government spending on healthcare and education, leading to huge opportunities. On Artificial Intelligence (AI), Gates indicated that AI technology would bring about huge changes. But he brushed aside the concern that AI would lead to job losses. Gates also lauded India’s strategy for developing AI. He indicated that it is okay for India to use the open-source foundation model based on local needs, such as supporting various types of Indian languages.

Also lauded India’s digital public infrastructure

Bill Gates also lauded India’s digital public infrastructure, such as Aadhaar and UPI, and referred to it as one of the country’s biggest contributions to the world. Gates said, ‘Every time I visit India, I see many companies taking advantage of this infrastructure. Whether it is banking, government subsidies or trading stocks. Innovation in India has progressed much quicker than I would have anticipated. ‘

Bill is the 11th richest man in the world

One of the founders of Microsoft, Bill Gates, is the 11th wealthiest person in the world. According to Forbes, he has an estimated net worth of $107.1 billion, which works out to about Rs 9.21 lakh crore. Bill Gates founded Microsoft in 1975. He served as the CEO of the organization until 2000.
