Human Vs Machine

In this article we have provided information about Man Vs Machine. The information given here will prove useful for children and students preparing for competitive examinations.

The Human is a living organism with flesh and blood. In contrast, a machine is a device with mechanical strength and acts on the orders of man. Humans built machines to reduce physical labour and other benefits. We find ourselves surrounded by machines such as refrigerators, fans, televisions, cars, computers, washing machines, etc. On the other hand, man has also invented machines for destruction, such as machine guns, fighter planes, army tanks, etc.

It is undeniable that machine and technology are man’s greatest inventions. Over time, however, human’s dependence on the machine is increasing day by day. Thus, it is necessary to evaluate the pros and cons of the machine’s dominance over Human.

The relationship between Human and Machine goes back several centuries. Man invented the machine to create a comfortable life for himself. Furthermore, humans created them to increase performance speed and reduce physical labour. The invention of mechanical devices was intended to create an easier life. People believe that the first machine man was invented in 3,500 BC. People used the wheel for purposes other than transportation, such as spinning threads, to navigate, to generate hydroelectric and wind power, etc.

It is God’s creation. They have cognitive abilities and respond to situations emotionally. Furthermore, they are creative, imaginative and innovative. Human intelligence is a collection of all types of mutual intelligence. Nevertheless, they have the ability to absorb and respond to different situations as per their own.

Machines, by contrast, are simply devices that are powerless without the support and supervision of man. He lacks emotions. Furthermore, they do not have the ability to respond to cognitive ability to understand situations. The machine’s function is the basis of artificial intelligence (AI). Artificial Intelligence is a theory that requires human knowledge to develop. It requires the help of computer systems to perform tasks.

Technology and machines have some advantages. Their application increases the manufacturing process. Machines contribute to improving the standard of living of humans. The invention of tools is helping farmers to increase crop production. They also play an important role in the development of the country’s economy. The machine has various advantages. Therefore, it is natural for men to resort to machines.

Although machines are man’s creation, the last few decades have seen their dominance over humans. The period of the Industrial Revolution between 1760 and 1840 saw a boom in mechanical equipment overtaking manual labour. The Industrial Revolution replaced humans with machines that led to unemployment and lower wages for workers.

Even today, devices like smartphones, computers, microwaves, cars etc. are a simple part of our daily life. Although the advent of machines is making life more comfortable, it is harming humans and the environment. Radiation emissions of smartphones and microwaves raise health concerns. People who use these devices have a higher risk of contracting cancer than those who do not. Furthermore, vehicular pollution is the primary cause of ozone layer depletion.

It is not easy, of course, to carry out our routine work without the aid of machines. However, we should keep an eye on our increasing dependence on machines. We should not become slaves of our creation. Thus, we must limit our dependence on mechanical devices for everything. There can be no comparison between man and machine.

Human is the creation of God. God embraced humans with emotion and intellectual ability. Machines are devices that require applied force, mechanical power, or electricity to operate or perform a task.

The wheel was man’s first invention, while man’s latest invention is the robot. Humans invented machines to help humans live a comfortable life.

The Industrial Revolution gave rise to man’s dependence on the machine. Machines have taken over the fields of agriculture, telecommunications, transport etc. In addition, machines provide convenience in everyday life, such as doorbell, alarm clock, fan, oven, computer, phone, etc.

In contrast, the harmful effects of machines are responsible for increasing noise pollution, air pollution, etc. They are guilty of causing many diseases. Medical experts believe that the possible cause of cancer could be due to radiation emitted from smartphones and microwave ovens.

Although machines help us increase our efficiency levels, our increasing dependence is putting our lives at risk. We must not underestimate our ability to do a job without a machine.
