HMD has added a new option to the affordable 5G smartphone segment in India. The company has launched it under the name HMD Vibe 5G. The price of which has been kept at Rs 8,999. The HMD Vibe 5G has a 6.67-inch HD+ punch-hole IPS display. It offers 2.5D curved screen and 90Hz refresh rate. Its resolution is 720 x 1604 pixels. The phone has an entry level Unisoc T760 chipset for processing. Which has been brought up to 4GB RAM and 4GB with virtual RAM extensions. While it has 128GB internal memory for storage. You can increase it up to 512GB with micro SD card.
Talking about the camera features, this phone has been launched with 50MP AI main camera and 2MP depth sensor. Along with this, LED flash and rear notification lights are also provided. The phone runs on latest Android 15 and will get a clean, blotware free interface of HMD. The company has promised quarterly security updates for this for two years, but it will not be provided with any major OS upgrade. Apart from this, there are side-mounted fingerprint sensors and face unlock features for safety. This device is introduced with a size of 165mm x 75.8mm x 8.65mm and 190 grams weight.
