It is important for you to know how many SIMs are activated on your ID. You can find out how many and which number ones are active in your name in 2 minutes, sitting at home. You will not have to pay any charge for this.
According to the rule, 9 SIMs can be activated on one ID, but only 6 SIMs will be activated on the ID of North-East state including Jammu and Kashmir, Assam.
If there is a SIM activated on your ID which you are not using, then you may have to suffer the consequences. For example, if wrong or illegal activities are going on with the SIM registered with your ID, then you will get into trouble. Therefore, it becomes very important for you to know how many SIMs are registered on your ID.
Check the SIM registered in your name on the TAFCOP portal every 3-6 months. Use your Aadhaar and PAN cards carefully, especially at unknown shops or websites.
