To know this, he tested fruit flies, in which he divided fruit flies into two groups. Out of this, one group was kept in constant darkness, and the other group was exposed to blue light. This research found that the level of a chemical called succinate was very low in the group that was exposed to blue light. Which means that they must have had very poor energy production.
According to this research, it is found that long-term exposure to blue light emitted from smartphones also increases a person’s aging speed.
