After All, What Is The Dark Web, Where Thousands Of Dark Acts Like Smuggling, Hacking, Live Murder, And Live Torture Are Carried Out

Be it arms smuggling, drug smuggling, human trafficking, sale of credit/debit card details, or black activities like hacking, all these works are also done through the internet; only their method changes.

There is no doubt that at present the entire world is running on the basis of the Internet. Almost all our daily tasks are connected to the Internet in one way or another. All the good and bad things in the world are done with the help of the internet. Now whether it is arms smuggling, drug smuggling, human trafficking, sale of credit/debit card details, or black activities like hacking, all these works are also done through the internet; only their method changes. Yes, the method changes. To understand this, you first have to understand that the browsers we work on are very simple browsers. But the browsers used for nefarious activities are very different and are almost impossible to detect.

All types of illegal activities take place on the dark web. Generally, the browser we use for our normal work is called the Surface Web. Whereas, people use the Dark Web for illegal activities. The Dark Web is a part of the Deep Web where all types of illegal and very dangerous activities are carried out. The work done on the surface web is only 4 percent of the entire Internet, while 96 percent of the work is done on the deep web. Not all work done on the deep web is illegal. But under the Deep Web, the work done on the Dark Web is illegal. Although the Dark Web is a small part of the Deep Web, it is a huge base for cybercriminals. You will be surprised to know that every year thousands of people subscribe to the dark web just because they can watch live torture or even live murder here.

A special browser is required to access the dark web. Ordinary browsers are not used to access the dark web. These require a special browser like TOR, i.e., The Onion Router. The IP address on TOR always changes, which is why it becomes almost impossible to catch those working on the dark web. According to media reports, the websites browsed on the dark web end not with .com or .in but with .onion. Here even the name of the website host to the visitor cannot be traced. This is the reason why even governments are not able to quickly reach the criminals working on the dark web, and neither are they able to stop them.
