If you have forgotten your debit card or fear of losing it, you can still make safe transactions from ATM. State Bank of India (SBI) has launched a facility called YONO Cash, so that customers can withdraw money from ATM without debit card. The service started in 2019 and has been improved since then. It is available at more than 16,500 SBI ATMs across the country.
How to withdraw money from ATM using Yono Cash
1. Open Yono SBI App or Yono Lite app and log in using your 6 -digit mpin or your user ID and password.
2. Find the ‘Yono Cash’ button in the ‘Yono Pay’ section on the main page and click on it.
3. Choose ‘ATM’ and choose the bank account from which you want to withdraw money.
4. Type the amount you want to withdraw (between ₹ 500 to ₹ 10,000) and set a 6 -digit vano cash pin.
5. After confirmation of your request, you will get a 6 -digit transaction reference number on your registered mobile phone and email, which will be valid for 4 hours.
6. Go to any near SBI ATM, select the ‘Yono Cash’ option, add transaction number, amount and your pin. The cash will be removed from the ATM and when the transaction is completed, you will get a text message and information in the app.
In addition, you can also withdraw cash using UPI QR code
Go to the “Cash withdrawal” section in the YONO app, enter your desired amount and create a QR code. Then, scan this QR code on UPI-enabled SBI ATM, put your UPI ID and PIN, and you can get your cash.
Keep in mind that do not share the transaction number and pin with anyone. If there is a problem in the transaction, then your money will be returned to your account within 7 days.
You can remove up to a maximum of ₹ 20,000 in a day
You can remove a maximum of ₹ 10,000 and minimum ₹ 500 at a time. After transactions in the app, it will be valid for only 4 hours.
