B. S.E. Shares traded at A, B, T, S, T.S. And Z is divided into groups. Apart from this, some groups have been formed for classification of securities, which include another G.

Why are shares divided into groups?

Generally investors do not have complete information about every stock. To help them, exchanges are divided into categories based on certain strengths or weaknesses, so that investors understand some basic things about them while investing or trading.

On what basis are shares classified into groups?

Their market capital for the classification of shares (M. Cash), trading volume, results, history profits, dividends, stakes and similar standards are resorted to. The group’s shares are considered by investors and analysts to be the most trusted. The most important of the standards required for inclusion in this category is market capitalization. A Group at the moment comprises a total of 216 shares. In such a group B. S. E. Shares of the Indonesia Index are included. Formation of this index B.S.E. Did on January 7, 2005. The S Group also comprises the shares of the Group and in addition companies with capital ranging from Rs 3 crore to Rs 30 crore, which are listed only on regional exchanges, those shares are also part of the S Group.

What kind of shares are included in Z Group?

Z Group shares are the most trusted. B.S.E. Created this group in the year 1999. This includes shares of companies which fail to follow the rules set by the exchange while listing. It also includes companies indifferent to the problems of shareholders and failing to make necessary arrangements for dematerialization of their shares. Shares that do not join the A, S and Z group are in the B group. Prior to March 2008, the shares of this group were divided into groups B1 and B2, but have now been made into one group. T group consists of shares which can be bought and sold only on a trade-to-trade basis. The TS group includes those who are included in the Indonesia Index and are traded on a trade-to-trade basis. Fixed Awa Securities are held under a group and Government Securities are held in G Gurup.
