15 Health Tips For Rainy Season

Where the rainy season has its own important place in this series of winter, summer, spring autumn season. After hot days, everyone has a lot of rain, where the rain has a different importance for the children, the fun that comes with rain makes us naughty and our body has a new passion.

During the rainy season, where most of the people sit together and enjoy the rainy season, enjoying tea and pakoras. But it is also one thing to be true that the rainy season gives us hot on one side, on the other hand, on the other side also comes with many health problems. Which weakens the body’s defense system and many diseases such as allergies, colds, cough etc. which can make a person feel ill and the person can also become ill.

This is the reason that it becomes important to compete with healthy, homemade food, fresh fruits, vegetables etc. Senior Nutrition Physician Meenal Shah has described the list of top 15 foods to consume better health. So let’s know about them-

1.Turmeric: Haldiim is very beneficial of Sarir. Turmeric contains curcumin which has antioxidants, antimicrobial properties. It prevents microbial growth such as H. Pylori, MRSA, etc., and helps prevent gastric ulcers, improves immune response. It also helps in anti-malaria activity between other protective and preventive functions. Drinking one teaspoon of turmeric in the form of milk with honey or in light warm water is a beneficial parrot.

2. Be careful while choosing fruits: Eating all fruits is a good habit because you get rich nutrition from each. However, it is good to avoid specific fruits like watermelon during the rainy season. Instead, you are rich in pear, mango, apple and pomegranate, cherry, berries, peaches, plums in your diet, rich in vitamin A and C, fiber and antioxidants. Avoid eating pre -chopped fruits and juices of roadside vendors, and eat high quality fresh fruits and juices at home.

3. Include herbal tea: We all know many benefits of these tea. Now, the time has come to switch to herbal tea instead of normal tea to ensure better health. It helps in increasing your immunity and hunger, which you can give after a few days.

4. Vegetables: Weather vegetables like gourd, Indian squash, trumpet, fenugreek etc. Include gourd vegetables in various preparations like vegetables, parathas, soup, raita etc. Eat boiled salad instead of raw vegetables. Because they contain active bacteria and viruses that can cause bacteria and viral infections.

5. Probiotics: Include probiotics like buttermilk, curd, green vegetables so that your stomach nature can be healthy. They help promote the growth of good bacteria in the intestine, which help in fighting bad bacteria or disease -causing bacteria.

6. Ginger and garlic: Garlic and ginger help to fight cold and fever and have anti-viral properties. They also have antibiotic and antioxidant effects. Ginger tea can help reduce throat pain. For children above 1 year, ground ginger or its extracts can be added to honey. It can be mixed in soup or in tea for the elderly. Garlic also has antimicrobial/antifungal properties; It is an effective immune stimulant. It can be mixed in gravy, chutney, soup, tea etc.

7. Protein: Including healthy protein in your food increases the immunity of the body and helps in recovering from the disease. Milk and milk products, pulses such as moong dal, dal, chickpeas, rajma, soy, egg and chicken are good sources of healthy protein.

8. Omega -3 fatty acids: Omega -3 fatty acids have immune properties. In the monsoon, where the risk of infection through food and water increases, there will be help in increasing immunity. Omega -3 fatty acids, fish, shrimp, oyster, nuts, and oil seeds such as walnuts, pistachios, chia seeds, flaxseed, walnuts, kiwi fruits and fish oil are found in plenty of omega three fatty acids.

9. Stay hydrated:  It is not necessary to have heat to stay hydrated. This is necessary in every season, drink as much water as possible to help remove toxins from our body. It also strengthens our immune system to protect us from infection and allergies.

10.  Keep your hands clean: One of the most common cause of people getting sick during the season is not cleaning the hand. We come in contact with many things and as soon as we are unaware of us, we become the carriers of the germs that we come in contact. Our hands should always be washed well with soap. Also, keep a hand sanitizer with you.

11.  Keep the house clean: Dengue is the most dangerous disease during the rainy season. Throw the stalled water and throw away things that can turn into mosquito reproductive site. Always clean your feet to avoid leptospirosis and other similar infections. In this season, we should be alert to keep our environment clean and keep the house clean.

12. Drink boiled water: Many types of diseases can occur due to contaminated water during the rainy season. Therefore, make sure that you drink only clean and safe drinking water. To get rid of such diseases, boiling water in the house can be the best solution.

13. Eat dairy products: Milk can cause indigestion during the rainy season and as an alternative you can choose other dairy products such as cheese, fresh curd and buttermilk. These products will help improve digestion and keep you healthy.

14. Stay away from spicy food: If you yearn for spicy food, the monsoon is the time when you need to ban yourself by eating it. This is the time when you may have skin allergies and irritation due to such foods. Instead, you can include healthy soup and low or moderate spicy warm foods.

15. Avoid stalled water: The water stalled water can cause serious diseases and hence you need to avoid it. Try to throw water inside unused tanks, water coolers and flower pots. Keeping the water surface clean and dry will give you immense benefits.
