4. Fake offers and discounts
These people take our money fraudulently by giving false offers like “big discount” or “buy 1 free” to fool us.
5. Steal personal information

If you have made payment from debit card, credit card, UPI or net banking, then contact your bank immediately. In such a situation, first call the customer service and request the request of Dispute Transaction.
In case of UPI transaction: Complaint on its helpline (Paytm, Google Pay, PhonePe). If you have paid with credit card, then request the bank for chargeback.
2. Complain on the related platform

If a complaint is not filed on the phone for some reason, then you can also file online complaints on the government’s cyber crime portal www.cybercrime.gov.in. 5. Notify the bank or wallet app
If the fraud is done with your debit card, credit card, bank account or digital wallet (Paytm, Google Pay, PhonePe), call their customer care helpline immediately.
Send a complaint to NPCI (National Payments Corporation of India) for the UPI fraud. If there is a fraud from the bank account, then give the bank written complaint and ask to block the account.
6. File a complaint at the police station
If the amount of cheating is very high, then lodge an FIR in your nearest police station without delay. To register an FIR, keep proof of payment proof, messages, call recording, email etc.
