Samsung One UI 7 Beta Rolls Out In India For Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6

Samsung on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, rolled out Galaxy AI features on other Galaxy phones through the One UI 7 beta program. The beta program will roll out on the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 in India starting March 6. The official One UI 7 will roll out in April.

It will be available on other devices like the Galaxy S23 series, TAB S10 series, and A55 throughout the month, according to the company. Members can sign up to be a part of the beta program through Samsung Members.

“Blending the world’s leading AI agents with multimodal functionality across all touchpoints of the interface, One UI 7 is a game-changing milestone in designing a new kind of mobile experience where each interaction is more intuitive than ever before,” Samsung said.

One UI 7 brings Galaxy AI features such as enhanced writing assistance features. With AI built into the OS, they will be able to copy texts that don’t require app switching.

Advanced call features with One UI 7 to enable call transcripts in 20 languages. Call transcripts will be automatically transcribed when call recording is turned on for easy reference later.

One UI 7 AI features bring a major new look, centered on a new notification system that simplifies communication with convenient access from the device lock screen. It now features the bar, which places useful functions on top of a range of features such as interpreter, music, recording, stopwatch and more. It will be available on future Galaxy S series phones.

A reworked UX for the camera will make more advanced changes easier to understand. Controls, modes, and camera buttons have all been reconfigured to be more accessible, making it easier to locate features to better preview a video or image.

For the Pro and Pro Video modes, the manual settings panel is also simplified. When you’re recording in Pro Video mode, you now have a new zoom control, where you get to decide the zoom speed.

The official One UI 7 availability will start with upcoming models of the Galaxy S series, along with more AI features like improved on-device AI from the first quarter of 2025. The update will roll out to other Galaxy devices over time.
