MG’s Cheapest Electric Cars, Comet, Have Become ₹ 15,000 Expensive. This Is The Third Time This Year When The Company Has Increased Its Price

Earlier this year, in March, its price was increased by ₹ 27,000, after which ₹ 36,000 was increased further in May. After these changes, the initial price of the car is now to ₹ 7.50 lakhs, while if you choose the Battery-Ease-e-Service (BAAS) program, its initial price is ₹ 4.99 lakh.

Apart from the price hike, there has been no more change in the comet. It can travel up to 230 kilometers when it is fully charged. This car also has unique privatization options. That is, you can put special designs and stickers made by the company in your car.

The comate has a split seat design, which makes it possible. It is available in five colors: Apple Green with Black Roof, Aurora Silver, Stary Black, Candy White and Candy White with Black Roof. This electric vehicle (EV) has two doors and can sit in it. MG named its cars after historical objects, and the comate is named after a British airplane. This car is quite small, its length is just 2.9 meters, which makes it smaller than the popular Maruti Alto.

External form

MG is designed to make the comate look longer. It has LED lights for headlights and day-time running lights, a bright Mg logo, LED lights at the back, chrome handle on doors and cameras for front and back parking. The car has special 12-inch wheels designed aerodynamically, which help in efficiency.

Dashboard technology

MG Motor calls this dashboard ‘Intelligent Tech Dashboard’. It has a large 20.5-inch screen which is hanging above the rest of the dashboard. There are two parts of this screen: 10.25-inch display for control and 10.25-inch digital display for information about the car. The air conditioning vents are located horizontally under the screen, and are bright chrome control to adjust the air conditioning. The comate also has connections to mobile devices, entry without key, various driving mode and many other advanced options.

Internal characteristics

There are control over steering wheel inside this electric car. There are two control sets on both sides, inspired by the Apple iPod design. These controls allow you to control music, navigation and voice commands for entertainment.

Car range

The Com a lithium-ion battery of 17.3 kmh is in the Com a Battery. It runs forward wheels and can run up to 230 kilometers when fully charged. For comparison, Tata Tiago can cover a distance of 250 to 315 kilometers once charged once on the type of its battery.
