Insurance Scam

The insurance scam is an incorrect presentation of facts with the intention of cheating, including the action taken on the basis of incorrect presentation.

If someone asks you to participate, or if you see fraud activity, you should know about these plans. Potential fraud indicators include the following:

• Commercial insurance advertising low rates, offering insurance on pre -existing diseases, or offering extremely attractive insurance deal. • Motoring you to buy annuity and other products, where you have to pay more than profit.

• Individuals are trying to get information about your VA insurance policy without legal rights from the insured veteran or VA alive services.

• Examples of fraudulent tasks or efforts by a bad person, which is trying to achieve access to life insurance income, which they are not entitled to.

• The beneficiary designation of a veteran is updated without their knowledge.

• Improper contender or agent who accuses insurance income.

• Claim Fund is distributed to the fraudulent payee.

What to do

• If you get interrogation from someone who says that they represent a company or government agency, cut the phone and call your account details, or phone number on the website of the company or government agency to verify the authenticity of the request. Before getting a call from a valid source, you will usually find a written statement in the mail, especially if the calling is asking for payment.

• Do not share personal identified information (PII) or do not consult people who do not have the right to inquire about the VA insurance policy.

• Do not believe the plans to become quick rich with the guarantee of big benefits guaranteed awards where they want you to work quickly and guarantee immediate/winning results.
