Special guests and media persons are attending this program. Next, the showroom will soon be opened to the general public. Currently, only model Y has been launched in India.
It has been imported from China, so it costs Rs 60 lakh after import duty. In the coming time, the company may also consider local production, which may reduce the cost. However, Tesla has not yet given any information about the production plan.
1. When will the booking and shipping of Tesla cars start?
According to Tesla’s website, you can order model Y from today i.e. July 15. It has been launched in several variants. Its starting price is 60 lakh rupees and the range will be 500 km. The other variant is priced at Rs 67.89 lakh. It runs for 622 km. Its shipping will start from October.

The company has recently fixed a five -year fare for a 4,000 -square -foot retail space at Bandra Kurla Complex in Mumbai. This space is near Apple’s flagship store located in the city. According to reports, its fare is around ₹ 35 lakh per month, one of the most expensive commercial fares in India. Tesla’s premium electric vehicles will be displayed in this showroom. Customers will also get a chance to test drive here.
The company’s model Y is the world’s best -selling electric car. Indian customers may also like it. It is a compact SUV, which is based on model 3.
Its range is about 500-600 km based on the battery model. It has autopylot and fully automated driving options available. However, it is not yet recognized in India. The company is facing a decline in revenue in Europe and China, so India can prove to be a major option for them.
