OpenAI’s chatbot chat-GPT is answering more than 250 crore active (questions or questions) every day worldwide. Of these, 33 crore active come from America alone. In December 2024, this figure increased to 100 crores per day, that is, it has been more than doubled used in 6 months.
According to an Exios report, the chat-GPT is answering 912.5 billion questions every year. At the same time, 5 trillion search (about 1,370 crore per day) is done on Google every year. OpenAI spokesperson Rob Freedlander has released these figures.
According to the report, the use of ChatjPT website and app is also increasing rapidly in India, especially between children and students aged 25-34 years.
The chat-GPT currently has around 50 crore weekly active users, most of which use the free version. India and America are the largest markets of ChatjPT where 16% traffic comes. Brazil, Canada and France are also one of the major countries.
Students in India are using it to understand studies, homework and complex concepts. It had 30 crore weekly users in December 2024.
The chat-GPT manufacturer Open AI is going to launch an artificial intelligence (AI)-operated web browser in the coming weeks. This browser of Open AI will do a little work together in an interface like ChatjiPT, ie users will no longer need to visit websites again and again.
Open AI plans to include this browser in browsing in its AI products, such as ‘operator’, which can act like booking or filling form. However, Google Chrome holds 66% stake in the market and has more than three billion users, while Apple’s Safari is second with 16%. Openai will have to face a tough challenge from them.
